Kerala
Kerala is the southern coastal state in India. To its west lies the Arabian sea and to its east lies the Western Ghats. Anamudi 8842 feet is the highest mountain. The high mountain region has tea and coffee plantations like Munnar. Elephant is common sight at Munnar reservoir. With highest literacy rate Kerala is leading example to the Nation to look forward. Palaghat is famous gap in the western ghats where the height of the mountains is very less. It has famous pass that connects Kerala with Tamilnadu. People of Palaghat would therefore speak Malayalam and Tamil both fluently.
Since ages Kerala has been known for its spice trade. Even today you go to Kochi you will find traders from various parts of India settled here. The spice gardens, palm trees thick vegetation, backwaters and water bodies make it a unique beautiful place. Festivals of Vishu and Onam which also includes Elephant parades in temples are of tourist attractions. Kathakali is famous dance form of Kerala.
Typical Kearla itinerary will include Kochi, Munnar, Tekady, Alappy. Koalam, Verkala are famous beaches near capital of Thiruvananthapuram. Padmanabhsamy temple is the richest temple in the region.
